Making the Effort

Filmed on location near Huaripampa village in Huascarán National Park, high in the Peruvian Cordillera Blanca at 13,500', "Making the Effort" was produced as a fundraising documentary for the Human Outreach Project. The project combined on-location filmmaking with the same audience-centered storytelling principles that inform Jake's work in learning design — building a case for support that a remote, low-bandwidth audience could feel, not just read.
